K, i havent had or even worked on my car for 3yrs... :crying: da bugga still stay in washington!
trying to get the ball rollin again and this is where i stand
au-ryte, so i pulled this perfectly fine working th-350(shifted in/out every gear) when i did my motor swap and such.
all i did was get a new torque converter from summit, and had a friends recomendation's shop install a b&m shift kit, thats it.
so i tried to go out for a spin and noticed it wouldnt go into reverse, my dumbass mistake, i shoulda taken da faka back to da shop and make dat mahu fix em. but no, i tinkered tryin to get it goin.
then i moved away to hawai'inae, so my old man took em to a shop, had it looked at, they said "the reverse gear was burned" and it needs a rebuild. so my Q. is will a summit HP rebuild most likely solve this or could this been a simpe error installing the shift kit and its missin parts?
tanks for any kine help, i have to rock the A/T for now so i was hoping i could rebuild em myself
