Local Camaro Unveiling...

I went to the local dealership unveiling tonight of the new Camaro....I thought it was cool, it will probably grow on me as time goes by although I do think that the roof is a little low inside. This one had the optional sunroof so that might have made a little difference.

I can't wait to see the SS version in person,

:twothumbs Thats cool! I sat in one last weekend that a local dealer brought to a cruise night and I was impressed with it. It was a V6 car as well, but the same basic car. The guy said that the non sunroof cars have about 1 1/2 inch more headroom. It was a sunroof car and I had OK room, but I am only 5'11".

I know everybody seems to complain about the interior, but I liked its nice simple layout and the seats where really comfortable.

I hate engine covers. If I'm ever in a financial position to own one of these cars I'm going to rip that stupid cover off the engine and put it on eBay.

i wonder if you can find the gas cap? that looks more like a hub cap!! it is huge.

Well at least it IS a gas cap. As opposed to the stupid fake cap on the back of the Mustang along with the gas door on the fender.

I thought i would post a pic of Yesterdays local event here in Mishawaka IN at GATES CHEVROLET.

the local camaro club( Michiana Camaro club ) had a number of cars on display for the unveiling of the 2010 Camaro and i was invited to bring my 69 BB convert i just finished the restoration on.

i hadnt liked the 2010 until yesterday but after driving it , WOW , im ready to pull the trigger and add one to my collection.

also found a 69 Z28 on display that FRANK ( prodigy ) built / restored a number of years ago - AGAIN , NICE CAR FRANK.

Heres a shot of my convert with the new 2010 2SS.

it was cold and raining but had a good time.
was thankful i was fortunate enough to be asked to have my car on display with the new one...
got some great pics for my albums.

Local dealer Marhofer chevy has a black on black SS in the lot. I went to look twice to drink it in... I was not big on it in the mags and in online pics but in real life WOW... I text my wife I was in love with a black woman..... LOL Fastest return calll I ever got from her btw....!!!

A dealer close by had a silver V6 RS LT2, checked it out and sat in it this weekend. Very nice!

My buddy at the local dealer was hoping to drive home their new V6 Camaro but someone came in and put a deposit on it right before the truck dropped it off... I could've drove it otherwise. Damn the luck!
