My buddy is doing a 65 mustang with custom air-ride suspension but we have run into a problem on where to mount the front shocks. When we go to turn the wheels everywhere we have tried will end up rubbing the tire at some point on either side. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures of a 65 mustang bagged because i havent seen one yet? All ideas are welcome!!!

Thanks

Odd, bags in the stock shock location will not rub. Must be some extremely wide bags? Pictures?

the bags fit just fine its the fact we have to relocate the shocks so we can run shocks in the front... its the shocks that are the problem

Is this not a coil over style bag where the shock passes through the center? If it's not, I personally don't see anywhere else you'd be able to mount it.

You mention that the suspension is custom. Are you retaining the same a-arm style and shock/spring placement?

Use the ShockWave...it's a drop-in, no tire clearance problems, adjustable valving...all it costs is a little money.

the only way i can imagine something fitting in there is if the shock is inside the spring or airbag? like the shockwaves.
