Just looking for ideas for a problem i've ran into!!!
On my 65 Skylark,,,ive installed the SPC upper control arms,,,tall ball joint set up,,,I bought the springs 5 years ago,,,theyre Global West the fronts are listed in year ones catalogue as GW29,,which are considered big block springs!!! But theyre not what GW calls the Negative Roll springs!!! I am running a Nailhead engine which is considered Buicks big block for that year!!!
The problem im having is that the front end is in the weeds,,,I need the front end to come back up about 3" to be able to drive it!!!!
I've talked to Mark at SC&C,,,we talked about a few options,,,and now am just looking for opinion from you guys on what options to look at or consider!!! Thanks!!!

There is always the stock car springs (5" x 9.5") with adjustable spacers.
One thing I noticed on my car, right now I have about 1.5" of travel till I hit the bumpstop (measured at the bumpstop not wheel). I also have about the same from the upper control arm to where it will hit the frame at full droop. With the Stage II setup I can't set the car at stock ride height (I want it lower so no problem here). I would check the clearance between the upper control arm and the frame to make sure you can raise it 3" and still have clearance. Just something to check.

Thanks Randy!!!! I have read a bit about the stock car springs,,but haven't got the full scoop on them yet!!! I'll keep searching and trying to figure out what I need for spring rate etc etc to get this thing up to where it needs to be!!!

So I checked out speedways site,,,,found the 9.5" X 5" springs,,,from posts i found on here it looks like I should shoot for the 600LB range,,,,
As far as the hidden adjuster deal,,,how does it seat in the upper spring pocket?? Not sure if the later (68-72) cars have in the upper spring pockets,,,but I know my 65 has somewhat of a stop the the spring has to sit in properly!!!! How does the adjuster fit in there properly???

You trim the top of the adjuster into a helix to match the upper spring pocket.
If there are vertical holes in the upper spring pocket, vertical bolts can be welded to the adjuster to secure the adjuster in place in the pocket
