Edelbrock shocks

I've put a set of the Edelbrock shocks on my car and it's now sitting two inches higher than before.

Will these things settle a bit once the car is on the road? They are super stiff.

I've never heard of a shock absorber changing the height of a car.

Answer: Yes they will settle, I have them on my 71 Nova, Big improvment over the old KYBs

These things are really, really stiff and they're pushing the front end up quite a bit.

They're supposed to be the right shock for the car, so who knows.

all shocks will settle, I have AFCO double adjustables at the softest setting the front was one inch high after driving it settled.
