What causes it & how to stop it. I noticed it today on the Monte but have never noticed it before.

Did I make changes to rear suspensin? Yes.
What? Tubular control arms, adjustable uppers, poly bushings, Bilstein shocks, different springs.

How to prevent it?

Did your springs raise the ride height at all? You can fix it by lowering. :)

I didn't measure it but should be lower if not the same.

Torque everything with the suspension loaded? Poly bushings where? How are the LCA's angled?

I'm gonna guess it's an angle issue. Perhaps the lengths are off between the uppers.

Pinion angle possibly? I never wanted to do adj rear uppers myself.. too much room to set an incorrect angle.

When I had the front end aligned, the guy said he set he adjusted the arms & set the pinion angle. So I dunno.

I wouldn't be sure on the pinion angle either. What did he set it to?
I would imagine that the proper angle with your new parts would be a bit less than with the old ones, since there is less flex possible, so it shouldn't go negative as easily.

Not sure what he set it to. What should it be at?

To be honest, I just don't know. I've forgotten what I've read about pinion angle.
If I remember correctly you want it at zero when it is at maximum torque. The reason you usually set it a few degrees negative is so when it twists it will just get to zero.

about 3-4* neg is a good start. you do not want to set it at 0 becuase that will kill u-joints. im betting if you looked at your pinion, its pointed upwards, thats whats causing the wheel hop. check it out..
