Update on my 68 camaro.

My 396 blew up last year so instead of rebuilding it i went with a small block for some weight savings. The motor has been in a month and a half but the day after i put it in i started my job training so ive been between macon, georgia and vienna, virginia and havent been able to work on the car. So it will be running as soon as im done training here. But here is where im at right now.

Brodix aluminum Race right heads
Hydraulic roller cam
roller rockers
10.5:1 compression

Ill keep the thread updated as much as i can. when i get home ill be getting it running, doing the interior, C5 brakes all the way around, and some new wheels. And maybe some carbon fiber goodies.

Congrats on being able to keep it. Looks like it's coming along nicely. The best thing about the whole deal is now you can rebuild the 396 and reinstall it at a later time if you desire. Or rebuild it and maybe make a little cash to offset the new one.
