I am going to run a 20x 10 wheel in the rear and 19 x 8 up front on a 71 chevelle

I would like to know if the 315/35-20 in the rear will fit and if I can go 265/40 in front or 255-35 or 40 -19. does anyone have a set up line this? Also any of our sponcers are more than welcome to quote. I would like to run kdw but I know they don't make the wide of a rear tire. I would like to run the VREDESTEIN. i have 305's on a 10" and the tire is bulging just a tiny bit. I wouldnt go wider then 305 in my opinion but i have 25 series as well..

Rushforth got the call on the wheel's

I am running 305/35R18 rears and 255/35R18 fronts on 9s and 11s. My rears are 26.4 inches tall the 315/35R20 are 28.7 inches tall. The interference point is likely to be the inside of the wheel well at the back (next to the frame). Mine is real tight back there. Going with an 11 inch rim will have the tire bulge just a bit: a 315 tread width is 12.4 inches. It is possible, but you need to take some careful measurements.

For the fronts that width should work as the Chevelle has more fender clearance than my GTO. How low and how much clearance you want are other factors. The 265/40R19 is 27.3 inches tall vs 25 inches for mine. How much camber gain do you have? How low do you want to go? From your build thread you want it low. Mine runs 3 inches to the front crossmember:

I would recommend you make a simple template to make the measurements. I made mine out of cardboard and a piece of scrap metal.

my car has 20x10 livewires with 305-35-20 nitto drag radials in the rear and front are 245/40/18 nitto 555...the rears will rub slightly on the outside edge of the qrtr but they look good i think..just a small bulge. the 315 will be to wide i think but tire also run different in each brand

Nitto also makes their new NT-05 in 315/35-20. They have 245/35-19 and 275/35-19 for the front, but nothing in between.

Definately want to see the pics whatever you go with. Those are huge, would love to see them fit.

Try looking at this pick or put in your wheel and tire sizes, 11 or 11.5 would be better pick on wheel as your going to have more bulge that would be just too big with 10s :http://www.rims-n-tires.com/info_specs.jsp?text2=Sample%202:%20Honda%20Civic%2 0wheel&sw2=165&ar2=70&bd2=13&rd2=13&rw2=5.5&et2=40&text1=Sample%201:%20Hummer%20H2%20wheel&sw1=315&ar1=70&bd1=17&rd1=17&rw1=10.5&et1=10&pageTitle=Wheel%20/%20Tire%20Size%20Calculator%20/%20Comparer

Basicly the tire will run flatter with a 11.5 to 12.5 in wheel with that tire size, if handling is non issue and you dont mind the pulled in look ok. b ut honestly wider wheels are really needed.
