Dr.gas exhaust.

Alright I have a question. I would like to use DR.GAS exh products on my car. I deffenatly want to use the oval tubing for better ground clearance. No my car is not going to be a ground scraper but, it is going to be sitting lower the factory truck style stance.

Has anyone used them, and how did you set your exhaust up?

I'm planning on using a "Dr Gas" type oval X-Pipe from Ram Air Restorations on my build. Feedback I've heard has been positive.

I have some, check my build thread.......ebay has the best deals on that stuff......go to "racing parts"......most of that stuff is huge dia. like 3.5" though......and it is HEAVY......BOYCE Performance Products has some oval pipes too......it would be cool to use the Boyce pipes and the Cup style outlets from Dr Gas

I have the Dr.gas X-pipe along with spintech mufflers and let me tell ya, in my opinion its one of the best sounding old school cars ive ever head. I get a really cool rasp at certain rpm's. it sounds like a track car. Id say go for it.

Yep, their x-pipe and 3" pipes to headers are what I have. Well made product.

Check out used NASCAR systems from Muscle Motor Sports. I got a complete, from collector to exhaust pipes, road course set up for $250. Delivery was cheap since I live close to where an employee had family and brought it home on a visit. But this thing is sweet. Haven't instaled it yet but can't wait. It will need a little mod here and there but at $250 you can't beat it. This is a 3.5" oval system also. Most are.

Thanks for all the info. I ask cause, I was thinking about going from the headers down to an X pipe, and run one of theit boom tube mufflers to the passenger side, in front of the rear tire.

I am paticular to this setup cause, I used to work for a colector a while ago. And he had this an historic nascar, with this set up, open pipe though. It sounded so damm good going to down the track. And since dr.gas has boom tubes they claim can be used for mufflers, it should not be that loud, I hope.
