I'm needing some advice on what to do about my seats for my camaro. I ordered procar seats back in November and received the front seats in December. The rear seat cover has been on back order and they keep telling me that it should be here any time. I have called about every week to every other week and just get the same answer. I'm getting frustrated and need some ideas about what to do. Any answers or thoughts would be great.

Can you get the matching material and have them done locally?

I did pay for everything already. The big thing isnt the money the cover was like 75.00, I need the back seat so I can get my interior in my car. I probably am complaining more than anything but also just letting people know that procar isnt a speedy company with their product. I was told yesterday at noon the container that has my cover will be at their door step in a few hours. They were supposed to call when the sales man got the cover, as of 8:50 pm tonight no call. Does asking for a credit (I was already given a good deal when I bought the items originally) to far out of line?

Re-cover the back seat with stock upholstery, and have matching (stock appearing) covers made for the front...
That's how I did mine. It was expensive, but SO worth it. I ordered 2 rear-seat covers, and 3.5yds of matching vinyl from Legendary, then had a local upholstery shop make the covers using the Procar covers as a pattern. Cost about $700 in labor, plus upholstery, and buying the seats... total ~$1600

Check Classic Industries and Summit. They keep these in stock. I got my rear seat cover from Classic and it shipped right away.

Nobody has the cover in stock. I would love to ditch the back seat and change things around but I need to stick to my plans i started with. I did call them today twice. I was told that the container shipment should be here may 4th. I am going to email the sales person(he is the CFO) and find out if this cover does exist. I did ask 2 of my warehouses today about dealing with Scat and i was told by both that if it isnt on their shelf good luck getting it in a timely mater.

Buddy, I can see the end of the tunnel. You need to stop out sometime, now that gas is cheaper. Hope your project is going smoothly.

quick update, I did email Scat yesterday evening and I did receive a reply back within a few hours. He did apologize and let me know that the cover is on the ship that is scheduled to arrive in L.A. next week. Thanks to everyone for their help and opinions.

Hopefully this is the final update. I received my rear seat covers Friday. It took them 28 weeks to get them, all I hope is that they fit. On a good note they look like they are nice quality(I haven't taken them completely out of the plastic). Their customer service is a lot less to be desired, but it is now done.

I ordered my backseat cover from Classic and was able to check stock before I ordered. Trouble was it didn't fit worth a damn. The upholstery guy had to take it apart and recut it using the original cover as a template. It was way off. It was supposed to be for the deluxe interior, maybe it was for the standard interior. Hopefully you will have better luck.
