I have a 1948 Chevy pick up with a GM Metric (G body) front clip grafted on. It is bagged on 4 corners, uses QA1 double adjustable shocks all around and a 9" Ford rear located by Chevy truck arms with a long panhard bar. I added Impala spindles, 1LE rotors and Hotchkiss upper control arms etc. to get bigger brakes and better handling. My problem is that I need to use drop spindles to correct my front end geometry. I kept the clip in line with the stock frame rails and should have raised it a couple inches. I dont want to go back to the crappy 10" front rotors and metric calipers to achive this. My question is does anyone make a brake upgrade for the aftermarket 2" drop spindles that use a 12" or larger rotor and a decent caliper?
Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Bob

Since you've done the B-body spindle swap already, you could just run 2" drop B-body spindles which are typically set up for the OE type brakes, so any big-brake kits compatible with the OE spindle should be compatible with the aftermarket drop spindle. I know that Belltech makes one for the late-model B-bodies (#2105) and I've been told that our C5/C6 brake kits are compatible by several customers, so that tells me that other big-brake kits for the application should be as well.

also, depending on what you want to do, i believe the AFX spindle has some drop built into it, but then you would need to convert over to C5 hubs/brakes.
