I assume you mean aside from the usual sources like Classic, Ricks, Year One etc? The only one that comes to mind is the one Steve is using on the Track Rat project - it's all aluminum and some $$ but it comes with a radiator & a/c options and sure looks awesome. I don't see the pictures in his thread right now - maybe he can jump in.

Sorry, I can't help you there.

As mentioned above, Steve Rupp is using the Autorad piece in his magazine project car "Track Rat" so you might look at that thread/send him a PM.

I put one of the AutoRad coresupports on order today, went with the oversized radiator, dual fan shroud system, and the trim kit, Jim and his wife seem to be good people, just talking to them on the phone i feel like i know them for years, must be the southern hospitality coming thru.
Coming from a manufactures view his prices are very reasonalble and his quality seems second to none, there is not alot of options out there for a replacement coresupports. i will defiently update photos when i get this installed.

AutoRad is about 20 minutes from my house. I saw a 1st gen Camaro, think '67 with their set up at the World of Wheels here in Atlanta. Awesome! I e-mailed Jim the next day and I'm waiting to get to that point in my project, because I'm definitely going that route. Good choice.

i made my own here is a pic, It isnt the best pic. But it shows the top. It bolts in, a lot stiffer than the stock sheet metal and looks cool.

I have always thought that the stock core support leaves much to be desired, especially when you spend all the time and effort to smooth your firewall and make the engine bay clean and simple, and even make custom inner fenders, and there is that eye sore of a coresupport, I was planning on fabricating one myself, but when I came across Jims prodcuts it was an easy choice to make, considering the radiator, fans, AC condensor and everything is there. I cant wait to see this thing sitting under the hood,

Yes, all aluminum. I spent maybe two full weekends (four days) but that was before i bought my bandsaw. I think i could get it done in half the time now. This also included cutting the old sheet metal out.

I will get a better pic tonight or tomorrow.

It does seem like a fair deal escpecially if you need to replace your core support.

Seriously you should consider coming up with a "JIG" and make a few, I bet the Stang guys would love it, I think my next build is going to be a 69 fastback mustang, (boss 302 tribute) i will be looking for your core support for that build.. LOL

I received my Core support, radiator, and dual fans from Autorad on Tuesday, I cant even begin to explain how huge this radiator is. pretty sure I will be able to drive on the sun and not overheat.
I should have some more pictures next week when we have everything installed.

looks cool, nice radiator. i personally like round tube rather than square. but will look cool installed. are you leaving natural aluminum?

I am going to grain the support, I agree with the round tube as it lends itself to a "nascar" theme, in this build the top of the support will not be visible, as I also have the trim kit to fill in the voids and surround the hood latch area. I hope to have a few pictures of this unit installed next week.
