i need a new clear coat gun i dont want another sata i was wanting to try out a iwata whats the best iwata for clearing ? thanks

Just curious but why not another sata? Everybody I know refuses to try anything else after using a sata.

The gun that's right for depends a lot upon the product you use and the type of gun you want/need for your area of the country. SATAs spray great consume a lot of cfms and cost a lot to rebuild. If you work at a Body Shop, ask your paint rep to bring some out to try before you buy. If a hobbiest, ask for advice wherever you by paint. the Anest Iwata site has a lot of info as well: http://www.anestiwata.com/.

I have a Sata 3000 RP Dig for clear. Thats a badass clear gun.

i have a 3000 dig rp gun its a good gun i just cant get the feel of the sata ive been a professional painter for 15 yrs & have never been able to . ive used optimas for years but have been hearing good things about the iwatas anyone have experience with the iwatas for a clear coat gun ?

i love my iwata !!!! i will never go to anything else, a buddy has a gold plated sata and the gold started coming off in the clears !
