Would it be a huge pain in the ass? Since im on a budget this front end and rear came along for really cheap along with the whole brake package

it would be a lot of work, but fatman fab makes a kit that uses new mustang strut suspension, yuo could buy pieces of his kit to mount the front. or build stuff yourself.

the idea behind his kit is to use a donor car, taurus rack and mustang spindles and some type of column. but everything form the cobra may work. call fatmanfab. as for the rear... i know of some kits out there (DVS??) that will sell a bolt/weld in cradle for the IRS. not sure on pricing.

Having owned a 03 GT and autoxing it as well, the front suspension leaves alot to be desired. One of the better upgrades is to change it to a double a-arm setup instead of the strut, see here for an example:
http://www.agentfortyseven.com/SN95/suspension.html (there are others as well)
You could upgrade the 67's suspension and get as good as or better results than the 03 setup and it won't be as much work. Just my $0.02

i actually drive a 95 mustang with stock suspension with a coilover in the front and caster camber kit and lowered two inches. I pull 0.96 G's in turns. So i feel the suspension has more to be desired in the design aspect but performs well. and this is with only 245 tires all the way around.

But when i went to build my own suspension for my falcon i went with a double a-arm design. (see my blog in my signature for a pic)

So i feel an a-arm is the best for performance and adjustability. but for engine and header clearance the best bet is a strut style.

He ought to google on 'SN65'. Might not be an identical situation, but it should provide a few thoughts.

the SN65 was a full chassis translplant if i remember correctly. But its almost the same. as a suspension swap.

Yes, it was. Maybe think of this New Edge into Classic as being a "front-half" job. That still leaves details like body and rear track width, wheel offset, etc. to be worked out.

The advantage in swapping the whole structure (or a lot of it, anyway) is that you know the front geometry will remain essentially the same, without having to carefully build very much of it. Classic Mustang front lateral structure is all but nonexistent.
