Well like the title says. I have been needing to repaint the inner fenders on my truck and the way the truck is built you have to take the fender off first, no biggy. Well the hood hinge is a two piece deal with the spring side on the fender. I propped the hood up in the front just high enough to be able to get to the bolt and what I had invisioned in my head was taking the bottom bolt out first then slowly taken the top out to let spring open while pivoting on the bolt. It did not move the least bit so I pulled the bolt out still did not move... then I grabbed it... It moved... and my ring finger just so happened to be between the lower half and the catch. Split the nail. peeled the skin up pretty good. But the good news is I don't think broke anything other then my nail
but I am trying to talk my uncle into bringing his 65 chevy pickup to the shop this weekend to start that build. So thats an "upy" and not a "downy".
Keep your finger to your self and have a great day!
