I broke down and bought a Sata 3000 hvlp 1.4 and I love It. I know there is alot of Iwata fans out there, but if it shoots better than the Sata, I may buy one of them too...

I use my Iwata 400 for basecoats and a Sata 2000 for clears...a perfect world.

What part of Texas are you in? Are you painting for a dealership or classics?

you just can not beat the reliability of a Sata. That is what it all comes down to. You can make any gun spray well if you set it up and adjust it properly. If you paint every day you just want something that will hold up and provide consistency from day to day for years. That is what makes Sata the best there is. They are very simple and the quality of the manufacturing is awesome.
