Can you get away with runing a larger fuel injector on an engine with an aftermarket computer such as the Accel Gen 7? I dont want to have to buy another set of injectors later as the motor gets upgraded.

Yes, you can, within certain limits.
If you go way too large you can have idle issues, since the pulse width will be too short.
Let us know what size injector you'd like to run and what the present combo is and we should be able to determine if you'll have any issues or not.

You'll be fine with the 65s.

If you go with the 65s, what are your plans for the 36s?

I dont currently have the 36's...I have a set of 30lbs...would you be interested in those?

I can probably get to 30 with adjusting the fuel pressure.

Oh it says you need 36's, I must have read too fast & thought that was what you had.

Thanks

i run 50's but with my fuel pressure regulated lower, they act as a 42 at idle, and i am getting 3-4ms of pulsewidth on a two-squirt batch fire setup.
if your ecu supports change of squirts per cycle, you can really accommodate a huge injector.
