Is there anyway to check how many post I have to know if I am remotely close to this? I have some sorta specific parts I need to sell, and I browse this forum a good bit, but I don't post much. Should I just start posting aimlessly to get to the number? Mods maybe drop the requirement for me? Thanks.

you can see your posts in this post................ :) It's listed at the upper right area of your post, you're at 26 currently. Most sites don't like you spamming a bunch of nonsense just to get the post count up .................. :hammer:

Thanks Jody. Exactly right.
We extend the For Sale section as a courtesy to participating members, and we're very protective of what goes in there.

I understand that, I don't want to just spam away, and won't, so thought I'd see if I could get around it somehow. Guess I can just post some random questions or something.

We are seeing some guys posting "that's cool" or "nice car" a lot just to get their post count up. You have a join date of 2005, so you've been around quite a while...

I guess I don't see much point in adding a "that's cool". Then a lot of times, a simple search you find all the info you want. Eh, maybe I'll just toss my 2 cents in here or there for a week, then I can post an ad.

That's it. Stop watching the dance, and get your groove on. :)
You can start by introducing yourself, your project, post some pics, discuss your plans for the car, etc.

I had the same problem. I think I posted some stuff for sale awhile back, and at that time you only needed 10 posts. I've been slackin' lately and I need to post some progress pics. I finally got the floor pan and trunk pan installed. In fact I guess I shoudl quit talking about it and post pics! I know that's what everyone wants anyway.....lol

That's cool, maybe this can be the "newbie boost to 50 posts thread" ha. Still trying to work on my 70' Swinger. About half way to no end in sight in trying to do the body work on it now. Nothing wild, ~ 400hp small block, TKO, 8.75 rear. Not really PT yet, but that's the route I want to go. Going to get the body straightened out first, then upgrade.
