Came up with a new use for the GoPro camera.. sticking it under the car. lol

In the first vid it's pointed more at the sway bar, in the second half it's more at the watts and shock.

This was done at the Costa Mesa Goodguys show. I want to try it with the wide angle next time. Click on the HD button for a better image.

Would also be cool on the front suspension, but that will be more challenging.

Anyways, enjoy and thanks to Larry for flipping the video for me. :)

Steve, that is way cool! What is the clicking sound?

Seems like you need stiffer springs in the rear. Under hard cornering the coilover is almost bottomed out. If you were to hit a bump at the same time it would really upset the car.

Actually what you're seeing get close is a foam "bumper" on the shaft of the shock. It was put on to help lessen the blow if the shock did "bottom out". It's fairly soft so in reality the shock would travel about another inch once it hits that foam.

Those were pretty hard turns, much harder and the car would most likely oversteer. You can see the foam pads in the newest issue of CP.

Either rocks or maybe the rear heim joints (on the watts).. not too sure.

Cool. Just checking :-)

The clicking sound is the camera rattling inside it's plastic case.

We were hoping for a more in-depth analysis of suspension articulation from you... lol

:lmao: I was going to post the same comment, but had second thoughts.

....and yes, I thought it would move a lot more than it does.

Yeah, a Puddle, a muddy puddle... and let it dry for a few years. That should bring you down to our level!

Hell just fill a weed sprayer with oil, spray the bottom of the car down and then go drive down a dirt road, that should take care of it.

I blew up a power steering rack because I didn't have a cooler on it and covered the whole bottom side of the widow with PS fluid, and ya I was on a dirt road. I don't think I ever got it all off.

That's cool Steve - interesting to watch the watts doing it's thing.
