I'm in the early planning stages of a second gen F-body project. I bought a copy of Tony Huntimer's book and noticed a '69 El Camino that has a decoupled torque arm rear suspension setup attributed to Herb Adams type thinking. I found this setup briefly mentioned in the Herb Adams Chassis book, but neither of these two books have much in the way of detail. Seems like an interesting idea to me. Does anyone here have any experience with a decoupled torque arm arrangement in something other than 3rd and 4th gens? A Google search returns info primarily for 3rd and 4th gen F-bodies.
