The suspension is all C6 corvette with a C5 transaxle and the LS2 engine made 600hp with the FAST ECU and Kinsler stack injection unit. The rims are from Budnik and the tires are from BFG. We used the 14" wilwood brakes and pretty much built everything else.

Enjoy

I will repeatedly say this, AMAZING!

I wish I had the shop, and tools, to build a chassis like that, someday. Keep up the great work!

This truck and the Chevy II at the shop now are some of my all time favorites. Let me know if it's going to be in the Houston area so I can bring coveralls and a creeper because I will spend all my time on the ground looking under it!

We had the 66 up on stands at Del Mar so people could look underneath but I was so busy answering questions all weekend I forgot to take a pic of it.

Thanks for all the compliments.

That chassis and exhaust is beyond description. That is truly amazing craftsmanship. I would love to be able to do that.

I love it all. The chassis was almost too pretty to cover up. I hope to see it in person in Columbus OH.

Yes, remarkable design and execution. Where does the steering shaft run - between #5 and #7 tubes?

Sweet!!!

Unrelated to the car though.... where do those large sheets of fabric come from for the photo shoots.

ironworks
04-14-2009, 06:16 AM
To answer your questions - Yes the steering runs through the pipes

and the large sheets of fabric were from the Photostudio that Truckin magazine did their photoshoot at in Orange county. I wish we could have done it later with all the changes we did after the photoshoot. Like Black anodized airbags, Black valve covers and coil brackets, Chrome stacks not polished, the Green XRP hose we used for the plumbing.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Wait...... I've seen this truck before!

If you guys have the opportunity to see this truck in-person..... DO IT. You will be amazed with the design work, the fit, ...... and the finish!
