Hey! im new here, and ive been a huge fan of pro touring cars since I was a kid. The best technology and best looks in one car- cant go wrong. My favorite car is a plymouth gtx, a tie between the 69 and the 1970, but I cant find much information on any pro tourers.

Ive found a grey one called "The hammer" built by nelson racing engines, and another "street fighter x" but no specs or pics of the real car, get die cast models.

Any info on pro-tourers of this body style would be greatly appreciated.

heres the "hammer"

Im looking to do a mild pro-touring, just want some ideas on what is out there on the extreme side of things.

There's a few out there. Year One has a 68 or 9 Road Runner 'Vert with a 505 Wedge in it.

Here are a few pictures that I took of B-bodies from SEMA 08:

haha that first pic you have is the hammer. thanks! any more info on these is appreciated. I found a 70 gtx in purple, but didnt really like the car, the paint and wheels were too obnoxious.

I think the second Runner is 'Dark Runner' or something like that. The 70 Bee is Mutant Bee: http://www.popularhotrodding.com/features/0809phr_1970_dodge_super_bee/index.html

The final Charger was in the Mopar 'booth' at SEMA.

The "Mutant Bee" was built by Plum Floored Creations. They have some detail pictures on their site as well as a couple other cars.

hammer was built by steve strope at pure vision.
For mopar pro-touring suspensions look at xv motorsports or reilly motorsports. Magnum force also makes suspension parts.

As someone previously mentioned, The Hammer was built by Steve Strope. Steve has build several incredibly cool B-Bodies over the years, including the 515 GTB (http://purevisiondesign.com/rides_69charger.asp) and George Poteet's "Nascar Charger (http://purevisiondesign.com/rides_otr_poteet.asp)."

Steve helped us design our new suspension system for B & E Body Mopars (http://www.hotchkis.net/search.html?Make=13&Model=1251&SubmitForm=Search). Then we did a live build (http://www.hotchkis.net/press_release.html?ID=11) where we bolted the parts onto a stock Coronet in two days at Mopars at the Strip, along with Wilwood Brakes and Bonspeed Wheels. The car will be given away at next year's show in a charity raffle. Here are some pics:

Holy Smokes! You must have ground the drivers door handle on the asphalt. Good thing it's getting some Hotchkis components. :)

Hey Tony! Yup, that thing was pretty sloppy/scary in stock form. Of course any big block Chrysler with Steve Strope behind the wheel has the potential for major-league shenanigans.

Mr. Angry - both of your cars are awesome. Cool plates too.

+2 on PURE VISION... Steve Strope is the owner.

Don't give Nelson Racing Engine Credit for something they didn't do. Steve is a friend of Mine and as a friend of his I get offended when people don't give him credit for the work he does. The Hammer is a Master piece that photos do no justice to this or any othe of the projects he is involved in.

Not exactly what you asked for, but how about a 3rd gen Dodge?
It handles pretty good, kinda protouring!
