Kids are watching Herbie with Lindsey and in it there's a demo derby scene. I spotted a straight 67-69 Barracuda (got hit front and rear) and a straight 240Z (didn't see it take on any damage).

They couldn't find some late model junkers to pick on?

I only justify the show's carnage because the cars were only 8-10 yrs old then; no one considered them to be anything special.
the movie, OTOH, there is no excuse. they put together like 15-18 cars for the movie, IIRC.
I refuse to watch the lindsay herbie movie, that skank just grosses me out.
