I need a couple of micro switches for a possible project on my car. What's a good source for switches for a 12 volt system?

I never considered them for 12v stuff. I'll look. Thanks.

The best thing to do is is use a lower voltage switch and use relays that way you can use a smaller switch.

I went to my local Harley Davidson, non dealer store.
They sell a handle bar switch kit. Universal style
Small switches with wiring already connected, I used the small push buttons for a project.
A relay is always a very good idea too.

If you want something a little different there are hundreds of 12 volt switches available from Digi-Key or Newark, searchable on the web by application or size package, etc.

Good Luck!
