Hey guys I'm building a 67 RS/SS Camaro and I was wondering if running California Vintage Plates (Black and Yellow) would "look out of place" The car is nowhere near original and not even the same color now. I was wondering how many people on this board are running Vintage plates or should I just get regular plates. FYI, I don't have ANY plates on my car yet, I'll be registering it (for the first time) real soon. I belive California is allowing you to run the black and yellow plates on any 60's car. I heard that will start this summer. So I'm wondering what the consensus is... how many of you have vintage plates?

I think they look cool.. definetly NOT out of place. After all, even with the modern touches they are still classic iron.

Hey Steve,

Those don't look like the normal, street 335/30/18 tires on there.
Heck, the front ones look a bit fuller/taller too, to my eye.

Do my eyes deceive me?

That's because they are 17s

335/35/17
275/40/17

Your eyes are correct :)
