Here are the first pictures of the tempest I bought for a "Budget Build".

I purchased the car about 2 weeks ago. The guy befor me replaced the floors and some other stuff, Overall the car is in pretty decent shape. He never got around to replacing the trunk pan so I will be attemping to cut it out and remake a new one with a fuel cell. Other then that it just needs engine/trans, interior (just need a seat and seat belt and i will be fine). And some guages. Just going to do a "spray bomb" paint job for it.

I had these wheels left over from the regal I ended up selling and decided to see if they would fit. They did! well sortof. I need a 1/2" spacer/ adapter. The Tire on there now is a 255/35/19. I will most likely do a larger tire in the back because the sidewall on there now is just too small.

When I was out looking at the car just now I noticed something. On the rear lic plate there is a dealer plate frame "seattle totem". I thought this looked awfully firmilar so I went out to look at me GTO, Same dealer plate is on the front bumper of my GTO. Thought that was kind of cool.

Some more pictures, Not everything on the body is put on right now. Its all inside the car but everything is there.

looks good man! but those are ROTA wheels?? if so don't use them.. I heard really BAD things about the quality and so. I just saw a lot of cars with the same rims with broken centers and spokes. Very bad stuff..

They are ASA JH8 wheels. I kept telling myself to sell them but part of me didnt want to incase I had a car to put them on, Good thing I kept them.

Trying to figure that out now, auctually. Guy at my work said he will give me his chevy 305 with the tranny for free if his neighbor doesnt want the car. Might take it just to get the thing moving.

The weather held up enough to get the roof, trunk lid, and righthand side qtr panel and door painted with the first coat.

No, You convinced me to use rustoleum satin black paint. Figured wth why not. Was only 40$s for 8 cans.

Trying to do everything and cheap as possible.

Forgot to tarp the car up last night and it started to rain, Went out to check to see if the paint was messed up. (wasnt sure if it was dry enough when it started raining)

The paint is repelling the water better then most new cars ive seen. It doesnt "stick" to the car. The water is rushing off as if you had a garden hose running on low, really quite impressed for 5$ cans of paint.
