Thinking about going with the GM600 Series steering box.

Questions:
1) If I go with this steering box will that elimiate the power steering control valve and power steering cylinder?
2) I'm told I'll have to change out my center link, if so, to what?
3) Can you tell me a stock Corvette steering ratio compared to the GM600?
4) I assume this is a direct bolt on steering box in stock location, yes?

Thanks!

Yes

You need to use the Vette manual center link from a 68-82
3) Can you tell me a stock Corvette steering ratio compared to the GM600?
The Vette steering gear is 16:1 the 600 is advertised as 12.7:1

The 600 that is used with C3's is the 1999-up Jeep Grand Cherokee gear with adapters. I did a DIY version, http://www.vettemod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1098

Some of the Corvette vendors sell a kit, but it's $$$$$.

Ok. I'm confused. All I want to do is keep my power steering but elminate the PS control valve and PS cylinder, you know, places for leaks. I was told a GM600 steering box is a direct bolt on and changing out my center link. Now you guys are talking about a 1999 Jeep gear box with adapters. Which is better? Which is easier? And how do I do it?:hammer:
Or can I swap something out and make it manual steering?
Pros?
Cons?

Thanks.

It is not bolt in unless you buy a modified bax bike the one from Borgeson or Concept one, you can also use adapters like Larry did above or the way Corvette-steering did it. That jeep box is a Saginaw 600 series box.
