Id say smoke kit. The flush mounts with the rubber edge dont look right to me on an old school car. I like the look of the chrome trim around the windows. Frank @ Prodigy also has the smoke glass kits but Im not sure how much they are. Was going to order one myself eventually.

I like the flush mount glass kits. Waiting to see what Prodigy has to offer and the pricing on a smoked flush mount kit. If you install the flush mount kit some kind of work needs to be done to the bottom of ths a pilar. Either body work or cut the existing trim to fill the gap at the top of the fender.

Iamtheonlyreal1

The Red Camaro has had nothing done to it, and the Yellow Car has had the trim cut and fitted to the body. Either way looks good.

I am not sure what Prodigy is potentially going to offer, or if they are. I will say that I have done everything possible to offer a great product, and who ever is claiming they are producing a like product will need to be careful about what they are offering.. They may offer a Plexi, lexan ect. Or even a metal kit that closes the body and has to be welded in or attached. But, I do have my product in a patent pending status, so they cant get to close to mine without penalty or compensation. Prodigy or any other entity may dispute that it is not a Patentable product, and think they can produce what ever they want. But, bottom line is, at what cost do they want to chance penalty, damages, or compensation. There is reason for PATENT PENDING STATUS, it protects my product or idea from being copied, stolen, ect, until my Patent's review is over. Most people dont go through the steps because it is costly, so alot get run over and their Idea or product is Exploited. The sad thing is, there are so many people and businesses that are ready to steal after all the leg work and risk have been taken. I have taken the expense and do have it tied up for awhile. So If they proceed, they will be paying my company damages in the long run.

I am not trying to bicker or sway anyone. And I do know that my responses and threads tend to go negative for some reason, but how can one not take it personal? Ha Ha. I Just think it is funny that some other Companies market or run with someone elses product, rather than develop there own. And I can say, dont hold your breath, where is the info? Where are the Pictures? What are the materials? ect.
I have been very open to what I am offering. Anyone can say that I didnt come up with the idea, But I am the first to offer a Molded and Shaped DOT SAFETY Glass that is made to do this function. There are alot of ways to Patent a Product or an Idea, it isnt just size, shape, contour, ect. All that and other factors are considered during the process. Other Plexi kits, were generally cut and needed to be molded and maniupulated to fit, and did not have enough uniqueness to qualify for anything other than Trademark. Anyway. I am offering a great product with quality materials. Anything less than I am offering will not be worth the lesser price.. Your call...

When the kits are ready I will release all the information. All I will say for now is a kit is be developed by a major glass company and I am told the next batch of samples are only a couple months away. This is a HUGE company that has been in the glass business for a LONG time and can bring this product to market quickly once the testing is finished.

For now, until the kits ready and until I test the product, I will not be taking order, pre orders, marketing, promoting, or discussing anymore details. Until it is in my hand, it is not real!

I will say is that the late model style glass kit will be a complete car kit including the entire cars glass. All the glass (except the windsheild) will be smoked like the current product we have been selling for 5 years. And the strike price as of right now is $1200 for the entire car!

Prodigy Customs has been selling glass for 5 years. The complete smoked glass kit is only $650 for the entire kit and uses the orignal window molding.

I am 99.9% certain the company developing the glass has never seen Robert's glass or even knew who Robert or his company were. I talked with this company about doing this late model style glass at SEMA 2006.

I flush mounted glass before you joined the forum and built the infamous $100,000 Camaro. Many here flush mounted their glass long before they met you Robert! Personally, I am not a big fan of the look and like the original window moldings.

I am not trying to steal your thunder Robert. Had I wanted to do that I would have mentioned this a long time ago.

I suggest you get you product to market. Focus on your products and don't worry about what others may do. If your the best and the best deal, it should be no problem. And just be prepared for competition because no matter what product someone has, competition comes.

will need to be careful about what they are offering..

want to chance penalty, damages, or compensation.

I am not trying to bicker or sway anyone.

And Robert,

And for someone that is

"not trying to bicker or sway anyone".

Sounds like a offer to bicker to me!

I am not here to bicker and will only release more information when the product has a hard delivery date. I don't want to get in a situation where I offer the glass kits and delivery for high end projects only leave builders with empty hands. When they are ready, believe me, everyone will know.

Ok, now Im interested. What makes a flush glass setup? Is it the glass? Or more in the moulding and seals? I ask cause I do like the look and would like it for my car. Only the back and front glass. Unfortunately its a nova so Iamtheonlyreal1's wont work, YET!!

I ask because I have some new smoked glass from PPG and was wondering if the glass has to be different for the flush kit?

And if there is any possibility of working with me for a nova setup I would be very interested. And as usual, cost is not an issue LOL Ok, I WAS the last one fired by Mr Trump so cost might be an issue.

But seriously. Im interested and can do some fab work to make it work. The technical issues and details are needed, along with any products that can be supplied. Thanks, JR

It is real easy to close up the window opening 3/16" or so and then the molding, which can be bought from any glass shop in a number for widths, can be used.

Ha Ha..... I left no one hanging and I know who you are talking about.. And if it was challenged, their character and honesty would indicate they had decided not to run the prototype glass I offered them do to someone nameless that helped the decision..

It isnt a matter of who flushed glass, or who originated it.. I personally dont think that you understand the concept of a Patent Pending Kit. It doesnt matter if they heard of me or not, nor does it matter who told who.. The only thing that matters is the timeline patents and drawings were filed. I dont argue that I did not originate the Flush Mount Glass Idea. I did however originate the Glass Kit and registered the Utility Patent for the Glass..There is the problem for your Manufacturer. Perhaps you should be a good Customer and inform them to do the research.

Personally, the bigger the company the better. And It isnt that I am afraid of competition. I only ask that it is competition, not theft. We can go on and on..So I will not. Just let things fall where they may.

From your statement you just made. It is my understanding you have no product to offer. You have no Idea if it is going to pass testing or design. You have no Idea if your manufacturer has done the necessary research. And you have no Real Idea if you will be able to offer any product at all.. Perhaps this is why a couple of your customers ordered glass from me.. I am sure you would have informed them that you had a better mouse trap coming..

I still make the offer of having my patent Attorney and my General
Attorney answer or disclose any information your Manufacturer may need to make a more practical design decisions for their products. So they dont possibly impose on my design and utility protection. I dont have a problem with anyone offering a similar product. But I do have a problem when it is mine and someone that was afraid to take the risk and effort to move forward, and they then try to profit of my hard work when they have nothing to offer..

In closing.. I will end the conversation. I made the offer, I would suggest that you atleast relay the offer. I am very easy to reach and would love to discuss any issues with them. And I guess the major offense I am taking, is the lack of Class on your part. You say you dont want to steal anyones "THUNDER", but I think it lacks major CLASS when you have nothing to offer at this point, nor do you know if you will. I have not noticed any other business or vendor on here doing anything remotely like you. Atleast every other business man on here is Respectful, and does what is right. I am sure I am not your only victim, and you probably have a long list of grey area issues under your belt.

I am sure you have your supporters and you build nice cars.. I can respect that and I am not refuting any of that. I dont have a problem with you in general, I just have a problem with your business practices in this instance. I have gone through the archives on here and cant seem to find any instance where this sort of practice has gone on. This is a very respectful site with very good practices. I am just wondering, what and why you chose mine? I personally think, out of respect, one should not intrude when they have nothing to offer. I dont really understand the reasoning behind it, nor do I respect it. I am not fishing for other businesses customers before I make the decision to move forward on my own.

Again, I have been very open and honest. I have brought everyone along every step of the way. I have product out there. I have pictures. I am sponsoring cars (OHIO GOOD GUYS SHOW AND OTHERS0. My product is tested by the Department of Public Safety, and by dozens of installs.

I also apoligize to the people that dont know the history of Franks issues towards me. I have never met the man. I have never had any dealings with the man. I dont even know what he looks like.. So, for all you people that stumble across this thread. I atleast Apologize. But, what would you think if someone was trying to railroad your hard work, on something they do not have to offer. How much sense does that make. And by his own admission, he is not in control and has no Idea about what is going on with it.. In my eyes, that is a total lack of CLASS AND CHARACTER....

I do not understand where you think there is any "thunder" to steal? Flush glass has been done time and time again, all you are doing is making it easier on the consumer. In which case I do not really consider your product a true flush glass product since you utilize a large rubber trim piece (btw- that's already patented, if you were wondering). A true flush glass will have no moldings, IMO. Like it or not, those big unsightly rubber things your kits have are moldings.

What exactly are you patenting? Since from all of the posts you've made threatening legal action (done more than once), none of them have been consistent. And to clarify for you, Frank is not producing this glass. Sure he might have done some leg work, but any legal action you would want to take would have to be taken up with the glass company. In which case I am sure they have a plethora of lawyers.

Oh, by the way, patent pending means squat if they deny you.

Or if a chinese company decides to get in on the act.

Iamtheonlyreal1
04-09-2009, 10:26 PM
Not sure who you are... You dont honestly think a product that makes jobs easier is worth protecting or patenting? And what I have pending is the Easy to Install kit which includes the glass, weatherstrip option, installation procedure, styling, ect. And the idea the kit goes in with no body mods. See, that falls under the Utility and also design patent. You can use several scenario's when achieving a patent, and you are not dedicated to one. Patent Pending means everything at the beginning, and does provide protection until the decision has been made. I am not an Attorney, but I have them...ha ha. I have been counseled and been informed of my options and right of defending. I am not threatening anyone with legal battle. Infact, I am offering what ever tools they need to know to help their cause without intruding on mine. I am sorry you took it that way, but I have been pretty consistent about that.

I have been nothing respectful to everyone, and have been willing to do everything in my power to be open. But, you can honestly tell me that you dont see a problem with this type of business practice? Come on. I have not indicated any legal situation is in or soon to be in the works. But, who wouldnt do everything to protect their interest? Can you honestly tell me or give me a situation in here where someone has Lacked so Much CLASS in business practices.? That is all I have a problem with. I will let my paperwork and efforts take care of themselves. Perhaps I am actually trying to avoid a situation by letting it be know that I will offer any information they need to be informed. I would honestly hate to pay lawyers anymore than I have now....ha ha. Who would want that.

So, again I dont know you. I am sorry I have offended you, but you should atleast understand my point. If not, I there is nothing more I can say. Business is Business... Class is Class. You be the judge..

Catch a breath dude! So let's see, what did I say

Very soon you will be able to have both.

In a post where a guy is asking should he do smoked or flush glass.

That's REALLY bad.

And my history of issues towards you???? LOL! Dude, You have got to get a grip. I am completly un aware of a "history" of issues with you unless you call me and the other 50 people that responded to your $1000,000 Camaro thread you got so defensive in.

And selling glass to my customers???? Well I have a hell of a lot of customers here so there is sure to be some overlap, and no, I have not offered one of them a flush glass kit. And I have not stopped one of them from buying your glass. In fact I have told a few to go for it if they can get it.

Now just take some deep breaths............................

So I went through every post I have made in everyone of your threads and this is what I find for "HISTORY"

Here is a link to every thread you have done on pro Tourng and below I have quoted every single comment I made in every thread..

BTW, did you know how many threads of yours have been closed? Seems like you jump on everyone all the time.

Mufflers are a deal killer, you have got to fix that. Maybe you can use Chamber pipe instead of the oval mufflers. First. congratulations. The build quality in pictures looks great and 16 weeks is a great accomplishment no doubt. Second, I am not wishing you any ill will. Understand that every builder here would love to see you get $100k+ for your car. It makes it a lot easier on us when our customers know they can sell their cars for more then they spent to build it. Sorry to say I suspect the car Will only break 40% to 50% of your anticipated price in real bids. Somewhere in the mid 50s is the end of the world.

I really do wish you Good Luck.

I actually hope I am wrong

Here is a nice barometer for you.

This is a super killer car. Excellent quality built by a well known Pro Touring shop. It was listed twice and brought the same amount twice.

I am not much into blue cars, but blue is a like able color to many. I give the owner of the blue car a lot of credit for resisting the urge to shill bid the car. He obviously let it eat on it's own. Anyone that believes the bids on E bay and uses bidding information to develop a business plan is lying to themselves. I will never forget a certain Camaro that bid to $449K, No saled, then a second time did like $425K (next bid wins) No saled. Then a couple months later sold for 1/3 of the supposed E bay bid.

There are some other consistently advertised Pro Touring E bay cars that have been obviously shilled. It is totally transparent and in my opinion it REALLY hurts the car and the builder.

Looks absolutely horrible! Desperate!

So here is the million dollar question. What is the magic number for you to sell and start the next car?

I can only assume if this one does not reach your goal, you will not rush into another for profit. So what is the magic number it has to break?

Ha Ha..... I left no one hanging and I know who you are talking about.. And if it was challenged, their character and honesty would indicate they had decided not to run the prototype glass I offered them do to someone nameless that helped the decision..

Well, SEMA was the first week of November.

On 11-12-2008, 12:49 PM on page 2 of your November Flush Glass Early Thread, You posted................

Sorry guys...I have been busy trying to get the last details done..I am having top corner pieces maded that will make the harsh turn the weatherstrip cannot..It is being made out of a plastic that resembles the rubber weatherstrip, so it should look seamless..It will also be made in a fashion that it can be sanded or trimmed to fit your car individually..

The glass fits perfectly. The weatherstrip works great, but we could not insure that there would be no issues with the top corners during application. So I would rather have something that I know will work for everyone. Sorry for the delay, but I want a product that no one has to cuss or ask how they can sell this stuff...LOL

The shipping packages are done, the glass is done, the install packages are done (including urethane, cleaning material, ect) So, I am just waiting on this one final detail.

I did not see anyone at SEMA with the glass. Anyone building a car for SEMA would have needed it at minimum by October first week, and on November 12 you did not have the molding worked out yet. I can just imagine someone at SEMA with a gaping hole at the top of the front fender.

https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45983

So again, chill out.

Just thinking about it. Depending on timing Ted we may be able to use your car as the Beta car for the Chevelle kits. But I would rather leave the moldings. I like the touch of old school on your projects. Call me and lets discuss it all

Not exactly sure why you think I am exploding.. I just type and speak as a matter of fact and to the point. I am not a hot tempered guy..ha ha

I am emotionally charged about my product, yes. Who wouldnt be? We have had this discussion on another website already, where you stated you had a complete kit coming for 60 percent of the cost.. Do you not recall that..?

Re: Flush Fit Glass

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL! I have never bickered with you at all Robert. I don't "bicker". I have not mentioned it on Pro Touring because I have not wanted to steal your thunder and the manufacturer is not ready yet. But since you brought it up

Here are the facts.

One of the largest glass companies IS in independant development of a flush glass kit.

That project has been going on before you built your first car.

We will be selling the kits.

I ave not mentoned it because I am not pre selling or trying to steal your thunder on Pro Touring.

Lets face it, had I said something at Pro Touring, that Prodigy Customs will have flush mount glass kits available including all side glass for a strick price about 60% of the cost of just your front and rear kit, you might have never sold any of your kits.

So lets just leave it at this. Glass kits are coming and we will be one of the distributors. If you need more information then that, I will be happy to telll everyone.

And yes I did mention it at Team Camaro

And AGIAN it clearly shows you jump dead into my **** with allegations of previous bickering.

I am Team Camaros first ever paid advertiser. A Premium advertiser on all the Team sites, and strong technical supporter with 1577 post. I pay a big amount of money to advertise over there. And yes I mentioned the product in that market. Out of respect over here I have not made mention of it because it is not here yet and you are all over it and are a sponsor here.

You talked about ot for 6 months before you had it. What am I doing wrong. And how the hell do I lack class mentioning a new product coming in a community you are not even a advertiser.

Does your patent give you the exclusvie right to advertise and promote product in places you are not even a advertiser, DUDE.........

At Camaros you mention our bickering again??? Like we bickered here????

Here is exactly what I said. And I hope all do go rear that thread.

BTW, are you a advertiser at Team Camaro? No!

I pay a lot of money for the right to promote product over there. You have no right to promote product over there and only joined as a member to jump my ****. Period.

6 months before I had it? I had glass, just refining it the installation. Didnt want to send a product out that wouldnt work properly. See, this is actually a form of public record here. There was a reason for the post and info on my part. Electronic dating and record keeping.

The more information linked to me personally, the better. It just helps verify the origins of the CLASSIC AUTO GLASS INNOVATIONS INSTALL KIT and keeps a database of information about the development and timeline to reinforce the PATENT PENDING Paperwork. Type in Camaro Flush Mount Glass in the Yahoo Search, Google, Ect.. There is a method to everything, and electronic public records are very helpful.

Ah dude, maybe you should look at Project EmptyNest sitting on the floor at SEMA 2007, before you joined ProTouring! With flush mount glass.

Wait, maybe you stole my idea! ROFLMAO!

Again, conversations hapened standing right beside the car. If you look through all the pictures of the car at the show, you may even see me talking with the glass people.

The picture date is September 2007. And that is a bordered flush mount glass I had made.

Ha ha... Did you have a easy to use kit with actual GLASS? Did that exist yet? Or was your body modified to achieve the goal? Do I still see Mouldings? Not sure what point you arent understanding...LOL Did not attempt to patent the idea of flushing glass.. Just went through the process to protect the easy to use kit CLASSIC AUTO GLASS INNOVATIONS put together, which eliminates all the time and moding you had to do..

You can try to act like you dont understand the concept. But please do not try to make it look like I dont know what I am talking about or doing. I have done more than you can possibly know, and am intelligent enough to do what is necessary. Again, we have not met. I have only stated issues that are facts.

Enough is enough. I will end it now. Proceed as you were, but I still offer you what ever information you may need to keep everything straight.. That is all I can do, because I have a bit of CLASS and would like to help you to have a CLEAN and productive product launch.

AND BY INFORMATION, I MEAN THE VITAL INFORMATION THAT WOULD KEEP YOUR MANUFACTURER FROM INTRUDING ON MY KIT. I AM TRYING TO AVOID ANY ISSUES DOWN THE LINE, AND WOULD RESPECTFULLY OFFER WHAT EVER INFORMATION THEY NEED TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS ABOUT DIRECTON. I WOULD RATHER BE PRO-ACTIVE RATHER THAN HAVE ANY DRAMA IN THE FUTURE. I AM ALSO SURE THE MANUFACTURER KNOWS THAT IT DOESNT MATTER IF THEY INTENTIALLY STAY AWAY FROM THE KNOWLEDGE OF MY PRODUCT, THAT IS THE POINT OF A PATENT SEARCH. I DID MY PATENT SEARCH BEFORE I MOVE FORWARD, THAT WAS THE SMART THING TO DO. JUST MAKING A GESTURE. THANKS

There is no need to end this thread. I will not respond anymore, its been fun and I have made my point. Perhaps one day, we will see who's product is better...LOL

I am fairly certain the manufacturer DEOS NOT any information from you. They have been doing this forever and can do it without your help. In facxt I think they have intentionally stayed away frm your product.

And for the record, I had a glass made for EmptyNest. But because it was a convertible, I had to weled everything closed anyway because it is all stainless trim and I wanted a painted window frame. But I wanted the glass made to fit and put the solid border on it for the concept car look.

And no the glass was not made by the same company that is going to mass produce them. It was a custom one off piece from one for the few places in the country that can do it. But when the glass company saw what I did.........................

Ha Ha, you would think that would work. But no one pays attention to what is being said... Do your research on what a Utility Patent is along with a Design Patent, and a couple of other designations, believe me I have.. Perhaps you would then understand why that is protected until a decision is made.

I know I said I wouldnt post again, but I dont understand the hostility on your part? I am the one that should be offended, and I am not even sure who you are. Do you know something that Frank or I dont? Just curious..

I can appreciate loyalty and coming to someones defense, but Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong. I was not trying to stir anything up. I have never said a word about Frank or his business Practices, until it was put in front of me. At that point, I think I should have the right to state facts and the issues I have with it. I have only responded to Franks Post about the product after he posted it. As far as I am concerned that is fair game. Perhaps, one should keep their intentions of infringment silent until after they have a product in their hand. That would add a bit of CLASS to the whole situation, wouldnt you think?

I am trying to end this conversation, but they keep sucking me in...HA HA HA... Let it lay, and have things fall where they may. Again, no problem with HONEST COMPETITION. No one in there right mind would let someone run over them, so how can you expect me to? I just have an issue with Business practices that seem out of hand and disrespectful. I dont see anyone doing this to Felser, Detroit Speed, Ect.

So, how am I a villian in trying to make my point? Do you think that any vendor on here or elsewhere would appreciate or stand for this business practice? Has Frank had this business practice with them? Probably not. I understand I am a new comer, but respect is respect.

What do you have a design patent on? Maybe you need to brush up on Design Patent laws. Since every component to your kits you are offering have a practical utility. With the exception of the molding, which is already patented. The only patent I can really see you getting is the utility patent for the kit as a whole. In which case selling pieces individually will nullify that Utility Patent.

I am not coming to Frank's rescue. He's plenty capable of that himself. Why am I even posting in this thread? Because I am trying to make you see how ridiculous your posts and over-zealous protection of an idea (that is not even yours), really are.

The simple truth is, quality wins. If your kit has the quality and ease of use to back up the cost, people will buy it. Regardless if there are other kits similar to yours on the market, or not. Competition is the best thing that can happen to a market. Offer a quality product at a fair price, and let the people decide for themselves.

Iamtheonlyreal1
04-10-2009, 12:35 PM
WHAT? I will not get into too much more of the types of patents. I will say that you may not understand the Types of pantents and how the products use and application is adjusted to fit the Intellectual as well as Design applications for patent. There are several types that encompass everything as a whole or in parts, from individual parts, design, Final products appearance, Applications, ect, ect.. I am pretty sure neither of us is qualified to interperet the Patent Laws, and I am also sure we dont have all the answers. That is why I have paid Qualified people to take care of these matters, and I am speaking from the consultations and process of achieving.. The final out-come may not come my way, but the pending status will be more that sufficient at this time.

Thanks for the Lessons, and angles of thought. Believe me, I think that most of it is covered or can be tied up..

Robert...your digging yourself a hole. It's going to be hard to convince anyone on this site that Frank is a bad guy and doesn't keep his word. The sooner you quit making a big deal out of it and move on with promoting your business and product in a professional way, the better chance you have of competing with a company that may in the future become your competition.

All I hear is whine whine whine...blah blah blah. :bsjerk: Bottom line like the other ones said, if your kits are better than the next one then there's no problem. You're not painting a pretty picture of yourself dude. I would be afraid of what kind of "customer service" you would be willing to provide with the way you're acting! I have dealt with Frank in quite a few occasions and have bought the smoked glass he sells. I might have been able to find it cheaper (although I doubt it) but he goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers! So at this point even if his "kit" was little more expensive and maybe it wasn't as "turnkey" as yours, I would buy from him because I know I could call and get technical advice and questions answered. I'm not saying that you wouldn't!! But that's the perception you are giving (to me) at this point. This is my opinion and mine alone. :smoke:

I really dont need a kit, Ill do it on my own but some technical advice would be cool. Can either of you two provide that or is it just a salesman's topic at this point.

Im just looking to set my front and rear glass in smooth, heck, like my honda. Any advice or links to proper threads and discussions would be cool.

And if not from you two I get that, more about the marketing of what you have to make money. Gotta pay the bills. Ive done that already. Just trying to get some advice on the mechanics of it. JR

JR,

Are you looking to do it with a rubber reveal molding (the stuff Robert is using) or are you looking to do it smooth, with no molding?

If you are looking to do it smooth, you'll need to add some metal to the roof and pillars too close the space between them and the windshield. Usually there is a U-shaped seal that goes between the glass and body, but I have heard of people just using sealant and finishing it with their finger to give it that "u" shape. You'll also need to space the glass further out, to bring it level with the body.

Your welcome to call me, it is pretty easy. There are a couple options on how to do it. On a Chevy 2 finishing the corners of the rear window is a bit of a problem. We flush mounted John Parsons II Much and aborted the mission before the uerethane dried. We kinda hated it and went with painted black moldings and have never looked back.

Hey Todd. Sorry for the late reply. I accidentally missed your post Durrr. Anyway, yeah, I called Frank today and he said what you said also.

I dont know. The more I think about it the more I am swaying towards just installing the new glass I have with the trim I have. Painted the body color. Just looking for that smooth look with accents of the old with chrome bumpers and maybe an original emblem or two. The car is shaved, door handles, drip rails and a smoothed fuel filler door.

But to be honest, Im past the point on the body to weld on some rod around the windows. I gotta call it quits some day for changing this cars appearance so I can drive it finally before my body calls it quits :)

Thanks for your help Todd. And thanks for the time today Frank!! JR

Hi, "I Am the only real one" I went to your web site and I was really interested but I didnt see any close up pics of the actual glass or for that matter the glass to body joints. That would be a nice thing to see. All I saw was a car off in the distance and couldnt even get an idea how the flush glass looks on the car really.

And you service statement sounds good, but I dont see anything to back it up, no hardware so to speak, all software (words). And your "home", "about us" and "services" tabs all kinda mimic each other. Your web designer should know to separate the different subjects.

Wheres the beef Im thinking.. On your web site show some examples of your product. Even if its some prototype installs that would show you actually have SOMETHING. As it is its just in writing. Like one of those many emails I get from europe saying I have some cash they just need my account info to make me rich.

I would love to see some detailed, up close pics of your product. There has to be some pics of the cars you mocked it up on. I would think you have many pics of windows and different cars right?? The cars you checked it on???

Gimme some pics of the item you want to sell, some "we did this car and this car and this one". Not a twelve foot pic of a nice car that doesn't show anything but the bodywork of the car. . Come on, there has to be more to show right?? We wanna see YOUR work. Love to see it. Put it up there, on yer web site.. Gotta be really nice from the sounds of it. I would love to see some close up pics of the item itself. Is there an item????????

I must have gone to the wrong web address. I just went to the one on your sig. Whats the correct one for your product. Im a dummy, not the first time I couldnt find something. JR

So I don't have to read through all the bickering and BS. Could someone please list a summary of who offers what kits and how much? Thanks.

Classic Auto Glass Innovations, is the only company that offers the Flush Mount Glass Kit at this time. Our company has gone way out of their way to offer a quality product. The First Gen Camaro/ Firebird Sets are stocked in the warehouse and ready to ship this week.. I offered the introductory price to the Pro-Touring members due to the Open and longer ship time. Now the warehouses have stock, and the approximate shipping time will be 1 Week or less..

70-72 Malibu/Chevelle glass should be out in the next few months. I also have 4 other product lines coming out later in the year, so please let me know what you are looking for. I will advise you of the release order..

For everyone that took advantage of the introductory price of the First Gen Camaro/Firebird Set, the kits ship to your door this week. Thank you for your patience. I only have 5 more sets that qualify for the introductory price. If you would like to take advantage, I need to do it this week for contractual reason...

Thanks

I know this is an older thread.. Has there been anything done for a 70 Monte Carlo? And could they supply the glass if you wanted to do the flush mounting to resemble on current vehicles with no rubber seal?

Thx,
Kevin

MonteSS, I believe that the Monte and the Chevelle have the same window glass in them. I know that they have very similar frames, Monte's just a little longer.

Hoping to kickstart this thread
I just spoke with Chris Fesler over at Fesler and they are fully on board to start making Flush Glass kits for Chevelle. They need a 70-72 Chevelle doner or loaner car to get the glass made. After that it will be a few months before they will be available. So if there is anyone in Arizona that can get them a 70-72 Chevelle to use it won't be long until they can make this happen. If you want to get involved shoot Him an email - [email protected]

are the flush mount glasses still super expensive? I was thinking of buying kit but 1500$ is so much that i can make my old glasses to fit flush wit that amount of money, thats only option if car is going to paint afterwards.

That's what the Camaro kits are going for. im painting whole car so it should be good. Hopefully they can't get them made by then.
