My dads got a 540 with an 871 on it with a 8 injector batch fire setup on it from bds. The motor does around 1000 hp can you guys please help me out with which fuel pump, regulator, etc to use. Magnafuel, aerotmotive, etc and what models?
Thanks so much

Aeromotive has a nice application chart. Not sure if you have a Carb or EFI but here is both links:

Carb:
http://www.aeromotiveinc.com/d_systems.php?systemdisplay=carb

EFI:
http://www.aeromotiveinc.com/d_systems.php?systemdisplay=efi

Both list the different pumps and recommended configurations / additional parts. Personally I'd pick a manufacturer you like (I chose Aeromotive) and make sure to get a recommendation from them directly they usually know their systems the best based on what application you tell them.

Good luck!

Recommend an Aeromotive Eliminator 11104 with properly sized lines, filters, return and Fuel Pump Speed Controller, P/N 16306.

I have an F-2 blown 540 with 160lb/hr injectors and it requires an lot of fuel at WOT. My system uses a A1000, 11101 pump with electronic controller and then an Eliminator kicks on when the motor goes into boost. This fuel system will support 1750hp boosted at 85 psi fuel line pressure.

Sorry, for the regulator I would highly recommend:
Pro-Series EFI Regulator, P/N 13110.

Use a return line and Fuel Pump Speed Controller, P/N 16306. That eliminates any heating issues.
