What material are they made in?...6061 or steel or kryptonite?

Will they be coating to maintain appearance? Those are heavy use items.

Looks cool.

I guess I'm in the minority, I think those look horrible compared to the stockers. Maybe if they were polished? :dunno:

We dont expect everyone will like them, just the guys that are asking for them. I have four versions and I am sure one will look better than what you have for stock but that IMO

I think it says Fesler Billet?

A billet is a general term for a metallic cast product (steel, aluminum, brass, etc.) with a width to thickness ratio less than approximately four. A metallic cast product with a w/t ratio less than four is referred to a billet. Same basic materials, just a different cross-section during casting. For a bunch of products currently manufactured for our cars, the base product comes from a slab, not a billet. Slab does not sound as sexy as billet.

So, saying "Fesler Billet" still leaves an unanswered question. However, saying that they are anodized is a big hint for the material type question.

OK OK, but all most all of you know we make Billet parts and that is what these are. Billet and they will be raw billet, anodized, brushed or polished. We will also have 4 designs on them. Sorry for the mix up

So they're aluminum?

Yes they are aluminum and they start as a block of aluminum and are cut on the cnc mill not cast.

Will one of the designs be along the lines of a sleek, smaller, pushbutton type like the hard to aquire Jag handles. Close to what Foose used on his 69 Camaros. I for one would like to see that. Especially on that is very sleek and fits the foot print of our old ones. :yum:

I think it says Fesler Billet?

When I originally asked you what they were made of..6061 blah blah your answer was kinda sarcastic and made me feel like maybe it was a stupid question.......

however it seems like others had the same type question?

It would have been nice if your pic post could have been more descriptive to us layman out here..

As an older businessman , I have customers ask questions all the time and I have never answerd back the way you did.

I would be out of business.......

There is no such thing as a stupid question when somebody does not know or is not sure.

My kids who are grown still and ask me questions but I still answer them without making them feel stupid and their question was not worth asking.

I have to tell you that your remark back to me really P----- me off...and it would have done that to anybody.

Your in business to make a living and to sell service and parts to idiots as well as those with a higher IQ. So next time think how about how you present your answer.

Johnny, I am sorry I offened you, it was not my intent at all and I just answered saying it says Fesler Billet. Sorry it came off that way and they are Billet aluminum. I took your questionas being a smart ass remark and again I apoligize for it. How about I give you a set to try on your car and if you like them you can keep them if not just send them back.

Hey Johnny,

I just got them all and will get back to you on Monday with prices. Sorry for the delay but with all the new parts and new Camaros we are working on we are having a hard time keeping up on everything. We hired another person to catch up so we should be back on time in the next week or two. Sorry for the delay

If you guys need to get in touch with us call 602-953-8944 as I dont always get on the sites to catch up. If you have time I try to check PM at least once a week so that is where the delay comes from.

Working on that now, we have 3 guys full time on parts so we will be cranking some serious stuff out in the next few months. I will post them up here as they come out. We also are almost done with the Driving light for the 2nd Gen, fender braces and trunk hinges so we will have everything for these cars as well.

Ditto on the Tri-5 set. I've got a '57 Convertible which has the same handle as 55-57 2-Door Hardtops, Convertibles and I believe 56-62 Corvette as well. Have your Trunk Hinges, waiting on the '57 Hood Hinges (hint..) and would be interested in a polished set of these.

I just called and talked to Amy..says they are not available for the 70 Chevelle. I thought that the 70 Chevelle took a common door handle. What gives? No info on the website. Did I miss pricing? I need some new door handles since my current ones look like crap and thought this would be a great time to upgrade the Velle.

Yes that is an option and we can do a clear coat over the brushed but as you know it changes the look a little but it will match other parts that are already that color.

expensive yes but they offer a look that will match the rest of the theme on my car.i will be getting a set soon but rite now im tapped out.
fessler is offering 20% now so that would bring it down a bit.only other comparable handle is from ring brothers but i feel they looked like a dragons tail.fessler is really a nice looking unit and will go together with my billet tail lights i got from them.
