Finally finished up the audio system. The system itself is pretty mild since the man focus is the car. It consists of

Pioneer DEH-P4000UB CD Receiver
Pioneer Marine Wired Remote Control
RE Audio 6.5" component speakers
(2) RE AUdio DVC 8" Subwoofers
US Amp AX 5600 - 5 channel amplifier

This is a shot of the vehicle from the outside.... Notice that I laid lime green film over the front driving lights... Not sure if I like this. Let me know what you think.

I have always wanted to deck mount some 8's or 10's in about every car I ever owned. You did a hell of a job there. Are the subs sealed on the bottom? Nothing is crisper than sealed sub boxes. IMO

The green film looks ExcellanT! Along with the paint and WheeL combO. You really got a ClaSS A RidE.

Thanks for sharing the picS!

Yes the subs are in a sealed enclosure. About .6 cubic feet each.

I am definitely diggin' that car! I also have a '69. I like the roddoors kick panels up front. Can you post a pic of the drivers side? Are you using the stock parking brake? I want those panels, I just am not real sure I want to lose the parking brake!

Great job ...car looks fantastic!

Already made a new center console for the car. Finished in leather. The kickpanels will get covered in leather and the rear deck is in process of getting reworked.

The kick panels look nice. How good is the fit/finish on them? Since they stick out further does it interfere with your foot room much?

The fit and finish is good for the money. You could build some custom kicks but for the time and money its a good value. I've made custom kicks in the past and have used Q-Logic kicks for some of my vehicles too.
Yes they do stick out a little but you get use to the change in time. I am about 6.3 and the drivers kick really doesnt bother me. The only challenge is setting the e-brake.
