I used a Woodward reservoir & made a bracket to mount it in the accessory bracket near the alternator.

I used and Afco reservoir and would not recommend it because the inlet is too high and causes foaming if it is not full. I had mine on the drivers side of the radiator support but have moved it to the passengers side next to the radiator overflow tank.

I haven't driven it real hard, hihg G corners or anything like that. But like you said, seems to be a real nice piece, it is double walled to keep the foamy (if any) away from what goes to the pump.
Where did you find it online, I looked last night trying to find it to send you a link with no luck.

I am using a stock F-body one mounted to the core support (driver's side). Works great!

Look on ebay for LS1 power steering cooler. Thinking of getting one of those too.

I used a reservoir from an early 90's Nissan Altima. A bit of adaptation was required. Brazing a short length of 3/8" tube into the return fitting to fit the AN hose fitting and welding a mount onto the right side fender brace was needed. The stock LT1 reservoir to pump return hose worked fine after swapping it end for end. The reservoir came with a quick detach mount. If you need to disconnect the reservoir from the car for any reason, just pull it straight up and it comes right off with the hoses still attached.
