Pre-ordered mine through www.electricdreams.com in So Cal,try them @ (310)858-8540 and see if they have any left.
Along with the Warren Agor car,I also pre-ordered the RJ Gottlieb Big Red '69 Camaro...woo hoo!
I already have all the other '69 Camaro's they make including the Sunoco Camaro's.

Scale?
1/32 so about 5" long.
I have all the '69 Camaro's they've made and I've managed to find all the '69-'70 Boss 302's for my buddy who's into Furd's...I don't collect those.
Detail on this car is amazing, even better than the 1st Gens.
I emailed GMP a while ago, told them Scalextric was doing these and asked if they had any plans to do 2nd Gens...they told me flat-out NO.
I told them they were seriously missing the boat there, they take one body and make several cars from it from race cars to their street fighter series and specialty cars but they would hear none of it.
If anyone wants to email them and voice their displeasure,do so @ www.gmpdiecast.com

Looks great. Do you have a track setup or just collecting the cars? I'm on the edge of buying a track. I'm turning the extra room in my house into a man cave.

Just collect the cars.they've never been out of their cases.
A track would be uber-cool though!:smoke:

Ok a few things:
I almost DID build a full size version of the afx car that looked like this, including the ridiculous size wheels and the personal plate "slotcar" or "mgntrctn" (magnatraction)
I got mine in the mail the other day, and I almost painted the front air dam silver. I thought scalextric forgot to paint it, turns out the real car had a lexan spoiler because of jim halls lexan sponsorship.
And finally I have a lot of surplus scalextric track, if anyone wants to pm me I will part with it cheap. I have enough to make a decent track if anyone wants to get started cheap.

There was a guy making stuff out of styreen a few years back, not sure if he still is or not. I think I won it in a proxy race on on of the slot forums.
