If I bleed a brand new system with a power bleeder, do I still need to bench bleed the master ? Or will the power bleeder be good enough ?

I didn't bench bleed my masters. I just used my Motive Power pressure bleeder. Took ten minutes, and my brakes were solid.

Wilwood guy explained to me that there is a chance of some air staying in the master cylinder if the pushrod is not run through it's full stroke. In my case, the master cylinder is slightly up at the end and his explanation could have merit.

Your results may vary.

It's simple insurance to bench bleed the MC before installation. If it's a new or particularly a reman unit, it may also allow you to discover whether the MC is in fact functional prior to installation as well.
