I got a set of power windows for my chevelle with everything need to install in my chevelle. These are factoy A-Body power windows but I will need new rollers and to clean everything up and test all motors. I am debating to install them or stay with the factory manual windows that came in my car. I do have new door panels to install so this makes it hard to decided in a way to cause there is no turning back then. I wanna know what you guys think stick with what works best (manual and hardly ever break) or Power windows that are nice but add weight and could possible cost me in the future. I am at a 50/50 here still guys please give me your input!!!! Thanks Brandon

What's your plan for the car - just track, just street, or a mix of both? If you're driving mainly on the street, no question - power. Similarly, if it's a track beast, why bother changing the windows over?

hoping to do a mix actually figured why not go power but then there is etra expense if something breaks etc you know how power window motors go when you don't want them to. just looking for insight

For a primarily street driven car it can be really limiting without power windows. If the weather's warm and you jump in your parked car, it's REALLY nice to simply hit the buttons, and air out the car quickly. It's also nice when someone at the light next to you is complimenting you on your car to be able to put the passenger window down at the touch of a button. My convertible has power, and the wagon is still manual. I'm planning to convert the wagon as soon as finances are available.

As mentioned... manual if purely for the track... otherwise go for the power
