69 Camaro front clip

Hi

Having problems with fitting new mechanical fuelpump due to original subframe.

Can I heat up the frame and hit it with a hammer to make a little more space without weakening it or is this an absolute NO NO?

the small portion would would move would'nt hurt the strength of it enuff to ever tell if any. i'd do it
