Ayo! I'm grinding on a '77 el camino to ease my stress. 350 w/ open headers and good ignition. Flat black primer because the body needed it. Air chiseled out alot on the rear quarters mostly. Got nice shiny headers and a crappy quad jet 4..
Got 2ndarys open full time cuz it's that or closed all the time..
Love it ,our 4 dogs luv riding in the back around the ranch (small, 2 horses). Good and loud. Want to tub rear, get motor real nice with a stroker, megaphones on the side : ) Will be posting good photos of the transformation. Yup.

..due to the kind response from fellow knuckleheads I felt obliged to download a few pics of the ongoing massaging to my camino. I hope they show up for ya. Since my last post a month back I've gotten all 8 firing nice and regular, quadracrap shoots apprpriately up to w.o.t. , and finished up all primer inside and out. I really need to get some pipes on, my last cruise up to the leesburg bike rally left my ears ringing so now I keep earplugs in the ashtray as part of my camino gear, along with bike goggles(in orange), flashlight and toolbox, dropcloth, tow rope and jumpers..
until next time..

..a/c removed with accompanied spaghetti wiring and plumbing, lotsa room now with 2 big holes joining my engine compartment to the cockpit, YEAH! so i'll be sheet metalling a firewall when I get to that a bit later, for now the engine room is freshly painted gloss black. Thats right, flat black outside, gloss inside... brake booster, inner fenders, alternator, etc all looks almost new. Coming very soon will be a holley 650 and 1" intake currently collecting dust in my buddys shop. And some bigger rear rubber to replace the moderate 285/65 15 tires. Look for yellow lettering on the sidewalls and an obnoxious size disproportion to the fronts : ) More pics soon...
