Looking for a website that has an engine displacement calculator but requires you to enter the rod lenght as well as bore, stroke, # of cylinders, etc. All the one I'm finding are just asking for stroke, bore, and cylinder #.

Ummm, because rod length does not impact displacement... Therefore, it's not part of the formula to calculate it.

Going back to geometry class, the volume of a cylinder is:
Radius * Radius * Pi * (stroke)length.
A V8 has 8 cylinders, so take the above result *8 to get total displacement.. :cool:

I'm aware of that but I have seen a program before that actually used rod length as well.

can't be, as rod length does not affect engine size.

You can use all of those and just factor in rod length to figure out compression height. Is that what your after?
