Looking for tubing to triangulate front subframe back to the firewall in first gen Camaro. Dave P and others here have mentioned them but difficult to find a vendor. Anyone have a source they can recommend?
thanks,
paul

Dave Pozzi can you answer this? Would like to potentially get them in place before next AutoX event end of the month if possible.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Wow, that page is rough. I looked at quite a lot of it and didn't see anything. Did I miss it?

I think Jake's Hot Rods can hook you up.

Check this thread out, saved it for the same reason you are asking and it has a link to a company that has them https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43590

On the 8th post is states that they will sell the down bars seperately. I would give them a call and see what they have to say

Or, send us the dimensions and we can bend up pretty much anything you want.

Those sound like the bars used on the One Lap Camaro. Maybe James (user=James OLC) had a supplier and can help you, or perhaps that is documented on his website www.onelapcamaro.com.

These are the front struts used on Orion, minimal fabrication, and removeable once you are finished. Very clean.

I'm apparently not smart enough to link to a single page....This opens a portion of the catalog, you need to go to page 55 once it finishes downloading.

Perfect Tim that is what i was looking for. I will be calling you guys on Monday. BTW, since i have you here...a few months back i think you were running ads in the magazines with subframe connectors for first gen Camaros that were traingulated with a driveshaft safety loop. I searched the catalog but can't find them (i do see them for mustangs). What gives? Do you offer these?
Thanks!
Paul

Redfire,
SPoke to Danny at Chassisworks today, ordered the forward struts. Didn't ask about the inner fenders, but he did say they would fit with stock brake booster. I will post up here my results. They have to bend them up so it'll be a week or two before i see them and possibly another before i install them.
Thanks everyone for opinions and help tracking the product down!

I've no doubt that those will be better than nothing, but I can't help but think that something with a straight shot to the the firewall would be stronger, and transfer load better than a curve. Triangles being stronger than arcs and whatnot.

Do you have to relocate the battery with the Chassisworks bars?

The best place to see pictures for the time being is to look for pictures of Orion. We will have better pictures soon, I promise.
