Hi guys

Just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce a website my buddy and I have set up in the UK. It's an online showground for American cars, preferably modded / rodded but a restoration on a classic yank would also be very welcome.

I wanted to advertise the site here because, well lets face it, it's American cars we like and the look we want to emulate. You've been doing this for years and hopefully you'd like to show off your hard work and others will certainly enjoy looking at it. We're not a club and we're not competing with anyone for numbers, just a place where we can admire each others rides. So please join, it's free and it's easy to upload your pictures and update your showground.

On a separate note, my apologies to the site administrators and moderators if I've caused any offence by advertising the site on Pro Touring.com it wasn't my intention to do so.

All the best and thanks for your time :)

Think you'd need to work alot harder than this to offend most of the people here.....

Yes- stopped in to take a look at th cars you had in the garages (showplaces I think you called it.)

I like the UK- been there three times w/ the local MG club (see signature- I was racing an MGB in vintage production on the west coast when I lived in California- now that I live in Michigan, I'm changing it to run current H production limited prep)

yes, early days for us at the moment and we're hoping it will feature more of the cars that we're interested in looking at. What you have to remember is any American vehicle is unusual over here. So cars which are considered ordinary where you are will always attract a certain amount of interest.

What we need is some of you guys to show us the way with what you've done to your cars.

Glad you like the UK and the $ is strengthening against the £ so it should be a good option for you guys now. Is your MG the chrome bumper version or the big rubber safety bumper one ?

73 (chrome) shell- actually not running any bumpers, as production car specification allow us to run w/o them

nice, I like the chrome bumper MGB's. I remember many years ago a guy from the states pro streeted one with a SBC. From the front and partial side it looked stock (wheels were an obvious giveaway) but from the back, WOW, all tyre and just a diff. It would probably have upset you as your into historic racing :).
