I've been looking at wheels for my stock disc/drum 67 firebird. $900.00 is about my max. I've been looking around on ebay for c6 corvette repo's and bmw aftermarket tuner wheels.
My questions are as follows.
1) For the 18"-19"C6 reproductions about how much of a spacer will I end up with? Not exact just need an idea.
Specs-19 x 10" - 65mm / 18 x 8.5" - 46mm
2) For bmw wheels I am seeing like 20-25mm front and 30-35mm rear for 8.5 and 9.5 inch wheels respectively. Again about how much spacer is usally needed.
What are your guys recommendations and any idea's here I would prefer 18/19 and pretty much know 245mm front and 275 rear is pushing it with stock tubs.:)

This calculator will let you convert those offsets to backspacing:

Lots of info around for backspacing, search the forum and you will find it. I read that Firebird rear ends are an inch wider so Camaro backspacing needs to be adjusted by a half inch.
C6 wheels will require thick spacers, around 2 inches or so if I remember correctly. BMW wheels often fit without spacers if they are the 5/7 series wheels.

If they are 8.5s with a 20mm offset, that is a 5.5" backspace, and you might need to run a .25" spacer.
If they are 9.5s with a 30mm offset, that is a 6.5"(ish actually 6.43") backspace and you'll need a .5" spacer. Just to give you an idea. Hope that helps.

Make sure you use hubcentric rings if you go with BMW wheels. More information about using BMW wheels here:

BTW,
BS is 7"/8.5" F/R for the C6 wheels I am running (w/o adapters)
Ended up with 2"/2.5" F/R for adapters.
