My dads SRT/10 Ram pickup. A Paxton kit that is! I've been farting around putting it on for the last several weeks and finally got it going Saturday night. Well it still runs!! That is a plus for sure!! It was kind of a PITA on some of it. I hated cutting into the stock wiring harness, but once I got ahold of the factory assembly diagrams; it wasn't too hard.
Well, I'm sure this is what you're waiting for. Before the install, I ran it on a "sideroad" and used my Dynolicious app on my iPhone and it ran a 14.50ish @ 97 mph. After the install it ran a spinning (go figure!) 13.75 @109 and change. Soooo, on a 5200lb truck, that is a pretty decent increase, just may not be a good dollar value tho. May be fun if it hooked!
Now I just hope it stays together for a long time, considering it has 110,000 miles on it!

That's the truck with the Viper V10, right? I thought that it would be quicker than mid-14's stock, but I guess it is a big, heavy truck. Still, from your MPH it looks like you picked up around 120 Hp with the blower upgrade. I say throw some drag radials on it and see what it can do.

It's fun to have a big heavy truck that runs with most cars.................... :)

You gotta be kidding? You want to trust a down load on a Iphone?
I say at least buy a Gttech.
After seeing some of the craploads for Iphones Ill save my cash.

Well it was fairly accurate on some of the "independant" testing. It is a super cool gadget! I will definately test it at the track this summer for sure.
But anyway about the truck, at the track last year when it had about 70,000 on it, it ran a 13.79 @ 99mph on a pretty decent pass. So it sounds close to what the phone said.
The thing is a boitch to launch tho! I'm not a good enough stick driver to ride the clutch out much. It's either a bog below 2,800 or fries the tires above. I can feather the gas, just not the clutch. 4.10's are not steep enough for the heavy thing that has HUGE tires.

Well pops picked it up today and brought me my camaro back (since it was using his garage space). He seems to be pretty pleased with it. Definately notices the change!!
But he says that it don't hold a candle to the camaro since he drove it! LOL!

Glad to see you pulled the trigger on that kit. Sure wakes these low compression Vipers up! Paxton/SRT-10 kit is dead reliable as long as you keep the combo under 700 rwhp :)

Thanks for the info on it Tony! Where did you get your tune? Was it worth it? I don't want super power, just strong power and dependability. He drives it everyday.

I will try to get a video one of these days!
