I have been directed to, forced, and sometimes TOLD PT is the place to go for info to combine modern tech for vintage muscle. I have recently started working (again) on my lifelong project, 1969 Chevelle SS396, and have had recent need to search! Can't search as a spectator so I am now registered.
So don't let my rusting heap distract you good folks from sharing your knowledge... :hail:

Welcome to the forums Dan. We appreciate rusty heaps here. Quite a few of the best builds here started from such humble beginnings.

Is there a fairly large Vegas gathering of vintage musclecars, Vegas69? I have been here a couple years but have been mainly suffocated at the north-end of the valley. My point being, what are some good local resources for tech/parts/labor relating to these older beasts?
Case in point, I have a double pumper holley that needs a major rebuilding... If I had paid more attention to my father, I might have been able to do it myself... :)

I'm just getting into the scene really. I'm kind of a nomad and don't frequent to many shows. I'd rather drive. Rebuilding a holley is a peice of cake really. Get a good book at barnes and noble and go for it.

Yeah, I'll probably give it a try myself, for sure. I got time :hmm:

Welcome to the site, Dan.
We've asked folks to put their names in their signatures, when you get a chance, would you mind doing so?
More importantly than that - we LOVE pictures, especially of cars in progress. Got any of yours?

Got a few pictures up in the PT garage, but I'm only allowed 6 max! Ahh, I'll get them up on photobucket or something.
