If "something" went wrong, they would be fine until they tried to get out of the pool... Then they would be in for a shock :smoke: Nice path right through your crotch to ground.

My ex wanted to change some miniture "Christmas" lights that were purple & orange used at halloween so they alternated colors. We had both strands plugged in pulling out ever other one & switching them. I heard a "click" in the garage for a split second I thought "what was that" & then she screamed. The GFI kicked off before she screamed.

Hopefully that have it wired through a GFI, but still I wouldn't chance it.

That's in Europe (can tell by the plug type) and is 220V!
