bought them and sold them without installing them. i got the c6 z06 setup for just a little more. frank also has insane deals on the wilwood stuff. the cpp kit doesnt seem to fit well together with truck front calipers and lincoln car rear calipers.

I too was thinking about purchasing CPP's big brake kit for my 67. I've been looking for a good front and rear brake kit for months but I'm more confused now than ever. I'm looking to purchase this month and I still have not figured it all out yet. I would love a Baer or Wilwood kit but they are about twice the money of the CPP kit. I've heard that the CPP kit was good from a couple of other people but I have yet to see one in person. If you figure out a good setup for the same price let me know.:)

I've seen them installed and they look decent . I'm thinking of going that route , can't afford the high $ stuff .

It looks like a good deal but I think you can come up with something comparable by buying brackets and piecing your own setup through a parts store. And I still think you could do it cheaper. There's a couple of guys here that sell the brackets.

Check on car-part.com and get a used set up off a late model for a reasonable price, Or check your local recking yard! I picked up a late model camaro rear set up for $50 off a core with 5k miles.

I have the complete CPP setup on my 64 C10 truck and I am very happy with their product. I got the upper, lower control arms, sway bar, coils, shocks yada yada yada. It's not bad stuff for my truck, but the 1st gen Camaros have a lot of aftermarket vendor support! So much aftermarket stuff it will make your head spin:hammer:. IMO what CPP is good at is grouping all the bits and pieces together and selling them as packages.

I also have a 1st gen Camaro and wanted to step it up a couple notches and got my complete Wilwood set up from Frank at Prodigy. You can't beat his prices or his tech support. He knows these cars inside and out and will be able to get you what you need.

Another option would be Kore3. I have heard good things about them and they have some nice setups that put late model Corvette brakes on 1st gen Camaros.
