fenders

Hi, bought new fenders from classic industries { over paid in shipping in my opinion but thats another problem} I have around 650 in these fenders and having fitment problems. Has anyone else had any problems or what they did to get the gaps to fit better? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Heck bad gaps all over had to cut,splice and weld, to make fit no fun at all

cool project- I would love to see more pics! I fought aftermarket fenders forever and ended up buying nos- but I'm not a professional bodyman- the stock ones fit great. I know there has to be some nova fenders out there- good luck- Chris

Don't think that factory fenders will necessarily solve your problem. Believe me, the NOS fenders I purchased to line up with my NOS doors looked a bit like they might have come from two different types of car they were so far off. Lots of tweaking, fiddling, hammering, and a little mud got them to a nice fit. :hammer:

Thanks guys, found 2 oem fenders and driver fender fit great, but going to use the aftermarket fender to make repairs to the passenger fender. Hate to have spent that much money on crap. Oh well, the out come will be worth it. Will post up some of the progress. Again thanks
