Staggered shocks? Check!
Proper orientation? Check!
One pair R/L (not two left sides)? Check!
Let's see if my blurry pix will post....

Details- I used an Engineered Velocity(Joe) rear bracket. Joe is the guy who came up w/ the 3rd gen hub for a C5 conversion. I did have an issue w/ one of the brackets- it required some sanding of the center hole, and slight reaming of the mounting bolt holes, but then it went on. The other one required a light sanding to remove some of the powder coating and it dropped right in place!
With Joe's set up, you can keep your staggered shocks!! It's close, but with the stock Vette rear brake line still attached, I have over 3/8" clearance between the Koni shocks and the C5 rear caliper's fluid connection.
Now, my next move is to connect the e-brake setup. I've been working on this for a while, and hopefully, I can get something to work....

You know that the caliper is going to move inboard as the outer pad wears, correct?

Well, I am gonna call you for some hoses and hardware, so I was hoping that your stuff would be thinner than the factory hose/bolt's thickness.
With 3/8" clearance, I'm hoping that there will still be enough to compensate for pad wear.
I'll try to call you today and pick your brain.
Thanks for your knowledge/input Tobin!

Thanks for the call. Just in case anyone else is wondering, the rear pads have about .41" of friction material per a quick spot check with some digital calipers, so plan on at least that much inboard clearance to be safe.

It's seems to be fine. I had to turn the outer flange of the axle to allow the rotor to slip over the flange.
To be honest, I was gonna further it so I could run e-brakes, but Ed has figured out how to do it. I kept encountering sticking points, and I like how he overcame them, so I think I'm just gonna buy some brackets from him and go from there.

Thanks for the kudos, John.

but will this kit fit for true c5 rear brakes/ 13 inch rotors on a 12 bolt. I have seen kits etc but only one for real c5 (not camaro etc). Brandon

I'm not sure what you mean by "true" C5 parts...are there "fake" ones? It uses the C5 or C6 rotors, calipers, and parking brake components. Obviously, the brackets and hardware used to adapt these components to a solid axle instead of the original aluminum independent rear suspension knuckles are specific to the aftermarket manufacturers making the kits. The kit shown above is the one offered by Ed Miller who posted earlier in the thread as "ebmiller88".

C5/C6 base rotors are 305mm [12.0"], C6 Z51's are 330mm [13.0"]. The only two companies offering true C5/C6 internal drum-in-hat parking brake solutions that I'm aware of are the one shown above and the kits offered by KORE3, the company that I work for. There are a few distinct differences between these two kits, however the primary difference is that the kit above uses the 18 guage sheet metal Corvette dust shields as the structural mount for the parking brake actuator housings and the KORE3 kits use a billet machined aluminum backing plate.

I am just trying to find a cheaper way budget wise to install ebrake for my Chevelle. I have 13" rotors which plays the part harder to do then if I had the camaro brakes. I know change them but I want 13's and I have had the Calipers powdered coated already and have slotted rotors for it. So can any one help me out?

I know you have 13" rotors if ur willing to go down in size alil bit just use the ls1 backing plate brake
Parts and abundant brackets and your caliper will work fine

Yes these will also work on a 12 bolt as well, no problem.

Yes, either C5 or C6 brakes including C6 ZO6 work with the brackets I made for John.
