B&M 144 blower and power question

My brother just bought a 79 capri. its got a 302 with iron heads and a 520 lift blower cam and a b&m 144 supercharger. T5 5 speed and 3.55 gears. Does anyone know what kind of power a setup like this would make? its around 8-10 pounds of boost. He wont stop talking about how hes gonna beat my 383 im having built. I just want an idea of how much power it could be making. he thinks it will be around 450 at the wheels. i think more like 350 at the wheels.

I think your closer to being correct at 350 hp at the wheels, but heaven help you if he finds out what a SMALL shot of nitrous does for one of of those mini blowers!

If a T5 is still alive behind that engine, the its not making anywhere near 450 at the wheels. I've seen modern 4.6L 2 valve engines with a Vortech supercharger barely make it to 400rwph.

Here is some info on the Weiand 174 blower. In the fine print you can read about some magazine results with a 302 on the engine dyno. Keep in mind a 144 is much smaller.
