color question!?

as of now my engine compartment is painted blue, but i really like the hot rods flat black but i was wounder what everyone else thinks of having the engine compartment blue and the rest of the car flat black? as of now the plan for the car is all moldings black and having the rims powder coated black........ here is a pic of the engine compartment

also is the satin black look going to make all the inperfections show up like a reg black gloss clear coat???

It shouldn't, to be able to see the imperfection the paint would have to be shinny.. This is why so many "Rat Rod" Guys paint thier cars Flat Black.. IMO I dont like the Blue Engine Bay. but that is me, not you.. I will tell you one thing, if you leave the outside Satin Black and the engine bay like that. People will Sh@t Bricks when you open the hood.. :D

yea thats what i thought about the paint.0 ill have to see if i like the engine bay painted once the car is in satin black. i was kinda looking for the stealth look and once i open the hood bam lol

Go with your gut!!! If you think that the blue might look good with the flat black then it will to you. That is all that matters. Your the one that has to live with it.

As for me.... I think it would look bitchin!!!!
