I have a 1967 Camaro with a 1998 ls1. It has a Rick's stainless fuel tank with the Corvette return fuel filter. It has #8 an fuel line. I am runing a walbor 255 pump in the tank. When the car is cold it will start fine & have 58 psi of fuel pressure an the rail. If I shut it off & try to restart it the gauge will read 50psi & be hard to start. When I get it running it will have 58psi & seems to run fine. I have not driven it alot lately because of the weather but it has ran fine when I have ben able to drive it. I have replaced the fuel pump & checked the voltage at the pump. It has 13.5 volts at the very least, some times over 14 volts. I have replaced fuel pumps a few times thinking it was a pump issue. I am not sure. I have also posted this problem on ls1tech.com. Thanks Eric

Please detail the fuel line routing and where it comes close to any hot components, i.e. tailpipes, mufflers, headers, etc.

I moved some fuel lines around. Time will tell if this helps. Thanks Eric

Any updates with this? I am wondering what your current draw is on the pump at hot start? What gauge wiring did you use and what is feeding that part of the system?

When the car is hot it is more difficult throughout the system to get things going. If the wiring is undersized and it is good and toasty additional juice might be needed that it isn't getting.

Just a thought.
